In 2015 two small Birmingham business joined forces to create the Birmingham Chilli Company. Sharing a nursery growing space with Urban Herbs the Birmingham Chilli Company is growing high level unusual foodie chillies in the heart of the city of Birmingham.
The Birmingham Chilli Company is about making the most of existing talent and expertise. Andrew Perry of Urban Herbs provides the growing space and horticultural experience while Paul and Lin Whitehead of the fantastic Mini Jar Company bring years of experience cooking with and producing high level chill preserves.
Our business was formed from a desire to see genuinely locally produced chilli in a city that has fallen in love with the scoville scale. We grow our key ingredient and then we turn it into a gourmet and sizzling foodie product in full compliance with environmental health inspection.
